Policy - End of the Year Assignment

This is the outline and schedule for the final research assignment. This assignment is the primary portion of the fourth quarter grade, so please meet each check in. We have gone over this outline extensively in class and discussed the assignment topics in depth.

    First Part: Research

    Check in March 12 Friday
    -Gathering articles
    -Full Citations
-You must Paste Unformatted Text into a single word document
    -Approximately 100-150 pages
-All 3 people need to coordinate to avoid redundancy
    -Suggested divisions
    Google news
    Google scholar
    Lexis
    Ebscohost
    Think Tank Webpages
    JSTOR
-Don’t Only research Parts, like Aff OR Neg, or Inherency OR Solvency – research general articles on your issue – you will find cards on All Parts of the Assignment
-You must use Microsoft word, preferably 2003 or 2007. If you use 2007, you must remove double spacing that is the default for 2007. 2003 is better.
-You must bring your research with you to school every single day
    -Email it to yourself
    -Jump Drive
-Save it on your lap top
-Save it on your school account
    (Multiple ways)

    -Proper Cite with each card
-Tag with each card, with an Open and Close brackets [ ] in front of each tag
